Powder Surface Modification Coating Machine Brief Introduction
Leaming from German and Taiwan coating technology,combined withour own actual experience in powder production,Dongguan VsunnyMachinery Co.,Ltd.independently researched and developed deep-processing equipment for surface treatment for a variety of inorganicpowder.It will be used to modify the D97≤10um ultrafine light (heavy)calcium carbonate,or surface treatment of the calcined Kaolin,theproduction capacity can reach 2.0T~4.0T/h;the coating rate≥94%,and the unit energy consumptions35kwh/t.
This continuous modification and coating machine can be used fordry surface modification of powder of various fineness from 325 meshto 3000 mesh,such as the surface modification and activation oflight calcium carbonate,heavy calcium carbonate,washed kadlin,calcined coal kaolin,talcum,quartz powder,mica,aluminum hydroxide,magnesium hydroxide and brucite,ulrafine and precipitated bariumsulfate,lithopone,white carbon black,titanium dioxide,coal ash,sericite,zinc oxide and other materials,while at the same time it candepolymenze and scatter the materials.
Powder Surface Modification Coating Machine Working Principle
The purpose of this machine is complete the surface activation,coating and modlification of powder materials.The dry powder materialand precisely measured modifying agent from temperature control &additives adding system are sent to the unit at the same time by thescrew conveyor.If use solid modifying agent,it will be heated and meltto the liquid state within temperature control &additives dosing system,and then sent to the modification cylinder.
The main unit's treatment to powder surface relies mainly on threemodification cylinder.The modification cylinder composes of high-speed rotating spindle,impact hammer,rotor blade and other parts.Surface modifying agents and powder materials to be modiied enterinto the first cylinder automatically and continuously,impacted by airlowin different direction when flowing through each modification cylinder.High-speed rotation of the rotor makes special-designed modificationcylinder form two-phase flow vortex,let the material and agents werefully scattered.The machine produces heat relies on the impact、shear and friction between the high-speed rotating rotor and powdermaterial,so the powder and agents were heated up very fast insidethe modiication cylinder.Then both of them will reach to the necessarytemperature required to modify powder surface,so that the powderand agents get fully mixed,and the agents can coat on the surface ofpowder more rapidly and evenly,finishing the coating and modificationon the surface of powder materials.At last,the finished product will becooled and collected by negative pressure cyclone powder collectingsystem in the back end.
The whole system produces no dust pollution and it is easy operated.The dosage of modifying agents per unit product is litle.Meanwhile,it consumes low energy per unit product;don't need another powderheating device.Modification temperature can be adjusted accordingto needs and it can reach 120~140℃;modiied products do notreunion.The machine has good abilty to break up and depolymerizeultrafine powders,which is especially applicable for the surfacetreatment of ultrafine powder.The machine can complete thecompound modification using more than two kinds of modifying agentsor more than two kinds of powder.And it can make up production linewith dry mill and wet dryer to achieve the integration of grinding andmodification process.
Powder Surface Modification Coating Machine Technical Advantages
1.The unit can work continually with a huge processing capacity,suitable for all scales of industrial production.Around 3000 tons can beactively modified each month for 1250 mesh of powder.
2.The modifying agents have a high usage rate,small consumption
(around 0.5%to 1%of agents consumption),high powder coating rateand activated rate,and low energy consumption.
3.The equipment has both modiication and depolymerization functions.It is proper for all kinds of material sizes,and has a special modiication,activation &coating effect on material with small density and big visualrate,such as barium sulfate,slica,mica powder and talcum powder.
4.The machine adopts a special and mixed cold powder and hotagents high-speed gas-solid phase vortex type operation mode.Themode has high modlification efficiency and wll not destroy the orginalshape of the powder.
5.The material is processed under negative pressure with good sealing.No leak of the powder,no pollution;good operational environment;lowlabor intensity.
6.The cooling and heating processing can be accomplished in thesame machine,No independent heating or cooling system is required.The operation is simplfied.
7.Ihdependent liquid and non-liquid dosing system,which is continual,stable and even.
